TALL WALLS
Our Tall Walls are 12.5 meters of roped climbing, we have in-situ top ropes, as well as quickdraws along all of our routes for lead climbing, in addition to our dedicated overhanging lead section, it's unlike anything you've ever seen before. Our routes are typically graded between fr4 (beginner) and fr8a (experienced) so there's always something new to challenge climbers of any skill level!

GETTING ON THE TALL WALLS
Rope climbing lets you experience taller walls, longer routes, and a more rewarding challenge. It builds endurance, technique, and confidence as you climb higher.
New to it? We offer coaching sessions to help you get started on the tall walls, and learn to belay's so you can climb safely and become fully self-sufficient.
BELAY TEST REQUIREMENTS
To use our tall walls we have a belaying proficiency test. This includes:

-
Tying a rethreaded figure of 8 with a stopper knot.
-
Belaying proficiently and catching an unexpected fall.
There is no need to book a belay test, just come into our centre and one of our helpful staff will be able to assist you. Our belay tests cost nothing so come along and get signed off to use our tall walls.

NEED TO KNOWS
We’ve got you covered with hire gear, including climbing shoes, harnesses, and belay devices. Please note for the lead walls we don’t hire ropes—so you’ll need to bring your own, and it must be at least 30m long to use our walls safely.
BOOST YOUR MENTAL HEALTH
Climbing and Bouldering are great for mental health & training. You’re not just training your body, you’re developing problem solving and focusing skills that can be applied off the wall in everyday life. Climbing is a great reliever of stress as well - the focus required to climb forces us to stay present, and develops whole body awareness. There’s no space for worry or thoughts about work when you’re on the wall. Climbing releases endorphins just like other physical activities as well!

Not only that, and most importantly, you can always come and hang out with us and the four legged friends that visit - you don't even need to climb!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Any sports clothing will be fine! Anything loose fitting that gives you a good range of motion will also be fine. We recommend wearing layers in cooler months, so that you can take those top layers off as you warm up!
Please note we are a ‘shirts on’ centre, so that means tops on at all times - loose fitting tank tops are fine, and so are strappy sports tops and vests.
