FOOTWORK

Aaron kickstarts our climbing workshop series with some fancy footwork.

​Good footwork is the foundation of efficient climbing. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll learn essential techniques like edging, smearing, and precise foot placement to help you move with more control and confidence on the wall. Perfect for those new to bouldering or looking to build better habits early on, this session will give you the tools to climb smarter, not harder.


STEEP CLIMBING

Whether you find the overhangs and roofs a daunting prospect, or you just can't keep those feet on, Jack has the insider knowledge to get you flowing up the walls.

You'll cover the fundamentals of steep terrain, including body positioning, core engagement, heel/toe hooks, and conserving energy on overhanging problems.
Designed for beginner to intermediate climbers, it’s a great way to build confidence and start feeling more comfortable on steeper climbs.
SLAB CLIMBING

Learn to dance up our brand new slab wall under the sage guidance of resident wizard, Archie.

Slab climbing is all about balance, body awareness, and subtle movement. In this workshop, you'll explore key techniques for slithering up those less-than-vertical problems, including weight shifting, smearing, trusting your feet, palming, mantling and staying calm on delicate moves. Ideal for beginner to intermediate climbers looking to improve precision and confidence on slippery slabs.


DYNAMIC MOVEMENT

Learn to move with power and flow in this high-energy workshop focused on dynamic climbing led by our very own coiled spring, Chris.
You’ll break down techniques to coordinate complex movement, control powerful dynos, and how to generate momentum effectively. Whether you’re new to dynos or looking to refine your explosive movement, this session will help you build confidence and add some flair to your climbing.
INTRO TO BOARD CLIMBING

Board climbing can feel intimidating but it’s one of the best tools for building strength, technique, and problem-solving skills. In this workshop, you’ll get to grips with the basics of using our training boards like the Woody, Kilter, or MoonBoard. We’ll cover everything from the initial set up to body positioning, creating tension, using the boards as an effective training tool and how to make the most of your sessions without burning out. Ideal for those with some experience in climbing looking to train smarter and make the most of the centre.


BOARD CLIMBING PROGRESSION

Take your board sessions to the next level in this workshop designed for climbers familiar with board climbing, looking to push performance and refine technique on training boards. We’ll dive into advanced movement strategies, tension control, hold efficiency, and projecting tactics specific to our MoonBoard, Kilter Board, or Woody. Expect focused drills, micro-adjustments to your form, and tips for building power and consistency on limit-level problems. Ideal for climbers confident on the board who want to train with more purpose and precision.
