Full Day Climbing and Activity Sessions for Children Aged 7 and Over

Our Holiday Club at Climbing Hut Ellesmere Port offers fun, active, and engaging full-day sessions for children aged 7 and over during the school holidays. Each day is carefully planned to provide a balance of climbing, movement, learning, and play in a safe and supportive environment.

Holiday Club runs from 9:30 to 16:30, giving children a full day of activity and adventure. There is also the option of early drop-off from 8:45 and late pick-up until 17:30, making it a flexible option for families who need extended care during the holidays.

Group sizes are kept small, with a maximum of 8 children per group, ensuring each child receives attention, support, and encouragement throughout the day.

Flexible Drop-Off and Pick-Up Options

To help fit around family schedules, Holiday Club offers additional drop-off and pick-up options.

Early drop-off from 8:45 is available and must be booked at least 48 hours in advance to guarantee availability. Late pick-up until 17:30 can be added for an additional £2.50.

These options allow parents and carers to plan their day with confidence, knowing their child is spending time in a safe and supervised environment.

A Day Full of Climbing and Activity

Each Holiday Club day includes a varied mix of activities designed to keep children active, engaged, and challenged in a positive way.

Climbing forms a central part of the day, giving children the chance to build confidence on the wall, try new challenges, and improve their movement skills. Alongside climbing time, children are introduced to simple climbing theory to help them understand how and why different movements work.

Conditioning activities for climbing are included in a fun and age-appropriate way, helping children develop strength, coordination, and body awareness without it feeling like formal exercise.

Slacklining is also part of the programme. This activity is great fun and supports balance, concentration, and lower body strength, while giving children a new skill to explore.

The day is rounded out with team games that encourage cooperation and creativity, helping children develop leadership skills, communication, imagination, and an understanding of how to work together.

Receive a 10 percent discount on your booking when you book additional children in the same transaction. This discount applies to the main Holiday Club booking and does not include early drop-off or late pick-up options.

If you book for the entire week, you will receive a 20 percent discount, giving you five days for the price of four. This is a great option for families looking for full-week holiday cover.
